National Energy Services Association is a non-profit organization whose members are drawn from all sectors of the marketplace, including natural gas, electricity and financial services. They share in NESA a common expertise in energy services and a common goal: to improve those services throughout the United States.
NESA offers the vast technical expertise of its networked individual members to policymakers within government and industry, with the objective of helping them develop programs that impose the least impediments and provide the greatest efficiencies in the use and transmission of energy.
NESA conducts conferences, seminars and workshops which foster the exchange of technical information and the professional development of those who work in the energy industry.
NESA collaborates with other professional organizations in mutually beneficial activities, such as networking and the dissemination of information about the energy industry to the public.
NESA encourages the practice of high standards of personal and professional conduct among those engaged in the energy arena. However, NESA does not lobby on behalf of its members.
