It is our pleasure to announce NESA's 28th Annual Meeting will be held October 7 - 9, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa in Bastrop, Texas. The meeting is designed to be our signature event of 2009 and will cater to all aspects of the energy services community. We feel the Annual Meeting will once again be the best conference and networking opportunity around, offering a high quality gathering in a relaxing yet professional environment at an affordable cost. VENUE DETAILS Combining a natural beauty revered by early Native Americans with a colorful history rooted in pre-Republic Texas the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa will offer NESAs guests a new and unparalleled meeting experience. In addition to a quality educational program presented by the Association our guests will enjoy additional activities at the resort which features 8 restaurants and lounges, the Crooked River Water Park, horseback riding & hiking trails, fly fishing, championship golf, a full-service spa and much more. PROGRAM DETAILS The Annual Meeting Planning Committee has secured many distinguished speakers who will present their views on a number of timely issues facing the industry (visit Events Schedule for a complete list of confirmed speakers). Our theme for Energy Forum 2009 is Renewing the Economy / Redefining Energy and speakers will discuss the economy's impact on the climate and status of the energy industry as well as methods and means for future changes. Topics for presentations will include: a state & national overview of the industry, mergers & acquisitions, Haynesville-area projects, local & global economy, weather impacts on the industry, greenhouse gases, Ruby Pipeline (the first carbon-neutral pipeline), storage updates and credit & risk management. The agenda format will remain much the same as last year with a few enhancements - in 2009 we will offer an evening Opening Reception on Wednesday, followed by a full-day General Session & Luncheon on Thursday. This will be followed by another Evening Reception with Dinner and Live Entertainment. We will then host a Closing Breakfast for all delegates and our Golf Tournament participants on Friday.
