Bio: Rick Whitworth is Vice President of Business Development for Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, a master limited partnership engaged through its subsidiaries, Gulf Crossing Pipeline, Gulf South Pipeline Company, LP, and Texas Gas Transmission, LLC, in the interstate transportation and storage of natural gas. Boardwalk's three interstate natural gas pipeline systems have approximately 13,902 miles of pipeline and underground storage fields with aggregate working gas capacity of approximately 155 Bcf.
Whitworth has over 28 years of experience in the energy industry including business development of natural gas pipelines, strategic planning, capital project management, mergers and acquisitions, production and operations, gas reserves, computer mapping, and interstate natural gas pipeline transportation. He is presently responsible for developing special projects across the Boardwalk pipeline assets. Whitworth received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston and resides in Waller, Texas with his wife of 29 years.
