Up-to-Minute Event Notes DATE: THURSDAY, MAY 1, 2008 LOCATION: GREATER HOUSTON GUN CLUB REGISTRATION: 2:00 to 2:45 PM SHOOT START: 3:00 PM NESA SPRING CLAYS TOURNEY Event Past View Registration List Description Take your best shot at NESA's Annual Spring Sporting Clays Tournament! This tournament will be held once again at the Greater Houston Gun Club. AWARDS will be presented to teams with the top two overall scores on the course, as well as an individual award for best overall score. There will be a SPECIAL DOOR PRIZE DRAWING for all shooters who have registered and paid fees by April 18, 2008. All teams will consist of FOUR shooters. You can select whether you wish to be Randomly Placed on a Team or elect to Create Your Own Team. NOTE for CREATING a TEAM: If any / all teammates are not specified by April 25 NESA will automatically fill vacant spots on your team. Members and Non-Members are invited to participate! Cost is $165 per NESA Member and $225 per Non-Member. Shooter Registration Fees include course transportation, ammunition & targets, flush game, dinner, liquid refreshments and eligibility for Door Prizes and Awards. Shooters will register from 2:00 to 2:45 PM with first shots fired at 3:00 PM. Please note that all Shooters will be given safety instructions 15-minutes prior to each Flight. DON'T BE LATE as shooters registering after 2:45 PM will receive a FOUR SHOT penalty. Mulligan Station at $15.00 per person (10 shots total) will be available for purchase in advance and on-site. LIMIT ONE MULLIGAN PER SHOOTER. This popular station enables shooters to replace missed targets in regular competition. Additional Two-Man & Four-Man Flush shooting games at $20.00 per person, per round will be available for purchase in advance and on-site (NOTE: one flush game ticket is included with your registration fee). Shooters may participate several times and be on multiple teams. AWARDS will be given to the teams with the top overall score for each game. Non-Shooters / Volunteers are also invited to come out and enjoy the refreshments, dinner, networking and maybe even win one of the Door Prizes that are available. Cost is $25.00 per person regardless of Membership Status. Door Prizes: You MUST be present at the time of the drawing to win! Raffle Items: Our Committee has secured a variety of hunts that NESA will raffle at the event with proceeds to benefit our Scholarship Program. Tickets can be purchased in advance and on-site at $20 for one ticket or $50 for three tickets. Raffle will be held at the event and you MUST be present to win. Refund Policy: Refunds minus a $50 handling fee will be made for WRITTEN cancellations received no later than Friday, April 25, 2008. Cancellations after that date are non-refundable.
