There will be NO registrations accepted after 5/11 and NO on-site registration. NESA Energy Extravaganza Charity Gala Event Past Description Enjoy an evening of networking with your industry colleagues while supporting two worthy causes! NESA will host a Charity Gala benefitting The Carl McCain Foundation & our Excellence in Education Scholarship Program on Thursday, May 13 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Houston. Plan to join us from 6:00 to 11:00 PM for a cocktail reception, seated dinner and live entertainment by Ci' Kelly & The C Street Band. Dress for the night is cocktail attire (black tie optional). MEMBERS and NON-MEMBERS are asked to support the Charity Gala with individual registrations at $250 regardless of Membership Status. Delegates are invited & encouraged to bring a guest to the gala event at $250 per industry guest OR at the discounted rate of $175 for any non-industry guest. TABLES of 8 are available for purchase at $1,750. TICKETS FOR THE GALA ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE. REGISTRATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 5:00 PM TUESDAY, MAY 11, 2010. Requests for CANCELLATION OR SUBSTITUTION must be made in writing and received by NESA no later than May 6. Refunds will be subject to a $50.00 handling fee prior to 5/6. After that date there will be no refunds issued. LODGING The Hyatt Regency Houston has agreed to make rooms available to our delegates & guests at the discounted rate of $159 per night. Please contact the hotel directly to arrange overnight accommodations. SILENT AUCTION DETAILS - The Gala Committee has solicited donations of items to be auctioned at the event with 100% of the proceeds benefitting The Carl McCain Foundation. The Carl McCain Foundation Established in 1979, The Carl McCain Foundation makes financial grants to or on behalf of individuals & families who work or have worked in the energy industry and who are financially overburdened for medically related reasons. Funding for the Foundation comes from corporate & individual donations and each year numerous companies in the industry sustain this worthy purpose - to date the Foundation has made grants in excess of $5 million dollars. Scholarship Program NESA's Excellence in Education Scholarship Program provides $5,000 in tuition assistance to four students per year who are pursuing undergraduate degrees with a focus in energy-related studies.
