Up-to-Minute Event Notes DATE: TUESDAY, MARCH 6, 2012 TEE TIME: 1:00 PM Registration & Lunch will be held from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. LOCATION: Augusta Pines Golf Club in Spring, Texas 9th Annual SPRING GOLF Tournament Register Description NESA will host our Ninth Annual Spring Golf Tournament on Tuesday, March 6 at Augusta Pines Golf Club in Spring, Texas. We are excited to take our group for its first visit to this 18-hole facility owned and operated by Tour 18 Inc. The course negotiates mature pines, dogwoods & oaks and the fairways are Baby Bermuda grass, while the greens and tees feature TifEagle. A total of 30 acres of lakes come into play on the eleven of the eighteen holes. Cost includes range access, greens fees & golf cart, beverages on the course, eligibility for Awards & Door Prizes, as well as box lunch and dinner. Play will be a BOGEY as YOUR FRIEND format and we will utilize handicaps. We will sell Mulligans and offer Buy-A-Drive holes so you can better your overall score - for a price! Awards will be given for First and Second Place teams, as well as Longest Drive and Closest-to-the-Pin for Men and Women. MEMBERS and NON-MEMBERS are invited to participate! Registration fee is $165.00 for NESA Members and $225.00 for non-members. Renew your dues or join NESA today and receive our Member discounted rate immediately! Annual dues for NESA are $125.00 and Membership will not expire until January 2013. LUNCH & DINNER Not up for the physical exertion our outing offers? Then join us for networking and lunch & dinner only! Cost is $50.00 per person (member or non-member) and includes your meals and eligibility for door prizes. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. VOLUNTEERS are needed to assist with the Golf Tournament. Enjoy a day out of the office and help with event registration. EVENT RAFFLE Our Committee has secured a variety of golf-related items that NESA will raffle at the event. Tickets can be purchased in advance and on-site at $20 for one ticket or $50 for three tickets. You MUST be present to win!! PROCEEDS FROM BUY-A-DRIVE, MULLIGANS and EVENT RAFFLE TICKET SALES WILL BENEFIT NESA'S EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM Cancellation / Refund Policy: Refunds minus a $50 handling fee will be made for WRITTEN cancellations received no later than 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 21. If purchased they will forego teeing off and proceed directly to the Marker in the fairway. This drive will count as one shot in team scoring. Players will then proceed to play the rest of the hole.
